The Tri-Hard, also known as the AUG, is a medium to close-range burst Bullpup class weapon class in Shell Shockers, closely resembling the Aug-A3 bullpup three-round burst in real life. It was added to the game in Version 0.39.2. It can hold up to 150 bullets (174 with a loaded magazine) which is the least amount out of the three rifles. Each magazine holds 24 shots. The gun is analogous to an Eggk-47 with similar textures and firing. The significant difference between the Eggk-47 and the AUG is that the AUG does more damage when at medium range with greater accuracy. Another big difference is that Eggk-47 can continuously shoot bullets, whereas the AUG can only shoot 3 bullets simultaneously. You must click each time to fire 3 bullets consecutively. You cannot hold down the mouse/fire key bind. Each bullet carton picks up 24 bullets. There are currently 53 Tri-Hards.
The Tri-Hard has a good bullet capacity, with 174 bullets at maximum capacity. Each magazine consists of 24 bullets, and each ammo carton you pick up will provide 24 bullets as well. It is also a very versatile weapon including a scope for distance, which it is not the most accurate in (despite its description), as well as featuring very good accuracy in close-quarters combat, as two bursts fired can kill an enemy. It is one one of the hardest weapons to use in the game, requiring a very high skill level. But against an opponent who is skilled with the Tri-Hard, intermediate players don't stand a chance. Weapon skins don't alter a players performance in any way.

Gameplay Tips[]
- Beware that you are a very vulnerable target to sniper players. If you think no one is actively trying to kill you, try to move around erratically and eccentrically so that sniper players can't hit you.
- You are also vulnerable to other automatic weapons. Try to shoot at the enemy before they kill you, as each AUG bullet has more DPS than an Eggk-47 or Whipper bullet.
- Avoid using this gun on an opponent from too far away. Far attacks can be helpful for defeating Scrambler, EggK-47 and SMEGG players. You can one tap them with three bullets if super close and if you aim on the middle of your opponent's egg. Try to keep a distance of 5 blocks between yourself and the opponent.
- Although this gun has good accuracy for long distances, the enemy can still kill you. Strafe and jump inconstantly so the enemy canโt hit you. When they are reloading this is a good opportunity for you to deal some damage.
- Reload! The AUG only has 24 bullets per magazine, the lowest of the automatic weapons. It can only be sprayed 8 times on one go. If you killed a low damage opponent that only needed 1 bullet, reload! That way, you are less likely to get killed when fighting the next opponent.
- Use Grenades. As the AUG is one of the most vulnerable weapons in the game, you should use more grenades than the average player, as snipers and shotguns are the most commonly used weapons to kill you.
- Try not to spend too much time in upper areas, as snipers can easily hit you. Instead, try to spend more time in close to medium range combat areas. That way, you will have accuracy and distance well, allowing to easily kill snipers and automatic weapons.
- Try not to waste too much time going for long range kills. Even though the gun description says that it's a long range specialist, the spread makes it hard to hit enemies at range and will waste ammunition. It is useful for long range kills only if the enemy has a low health.
- The best way to get kills using the AUG is to sneak up behind players and shoot them, if range is good, then spray them again or switch to pistol.
- ADS, or scoping, is a valuable resource while using the AUG. Although using ADS with the AUG does not provide a scope like with snipers, it creates a large dot in the center of the crosshair making it easier to aim, creating a deadly combination in mid-range combat when used correctly. However, ADS is not advised for close-range combat as it limits your field of vision and decreases your movement speed, allowing opponents to eliminate you quickly.
- The only tip given by Blue Wizard Digital regarding the AUG in the server-loading screen is written as follows: "When using the tri-hard at close range, melee between bursts."
- Try and save your last burst, as reloading on an empty clip takes significantly longer than one with bullets left in it.

Trivia[]
- The Tri-Hard's name is a play on words because it shoots three bullets at a time (hence the prefix "tri") and is considered to be a tryhard weapon due to the timing needed to kill opponents. If you can master it, it is very rewarding. However, because of the skill required, you should try to learn one of the other guns first.
- This gun is the second latest weapon introduced to Shell Shockers (the first being melee weapon).
